What is vegetation management and how does it benefit you?

As a property owner, you are concerned and take pride in your premises.  It's why you found this page and are considering vegetation management.

First of all, the reason we call it vegetation management instead of weed control is because we are controlling more than just weeds.  If an area is overgrown by grass or flowers, it can be just as bad as weeds.

 

Besides appearances, overgrown properties are at risk for:

• Flooding from drainage blockage 

• Prone to pests - insects, mice, birds, animals, etc.  These can turn into infestations and costly to treat.

• Susceptible to ground fires - this is hazardous around structures, equipment, yard storage, and fuel or LP storage

• Safety - several weeds can cause outbreaks or serious health conditions.  They are also tripping  / falling hazards.

• Security - tall weeds and grass make it easier for people to hide on premises.  This includes thief's, predators, and homeless.
